Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Systems Administrator to join our team at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. The successful candidate will be responsible for the integration and administration of quantum key distribution systems and encryptors in production facilities, following new networking paradigms such as Software-Defined Networking and Network Function Virtualization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configuration, administration, and protection of critical infrastructures using security protocols and tools.
  • Management and configuration of network hardware and software.
  • Programming and scripting skills, especially in Bash, Python, and C/C++.
  • Knowledge of classical cryptography and security.
  • Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English.

Requirements:
  • Linux system administration experience.
  • Good knowledge of network configuration, management, and protection.
  • Programming skills, especially in Bash, Python, and C/C++.
  • Knowledge of classical cryptography and security.
