Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrical and Functional Engineer to join Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe, Madrid. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for electrical integration and functional testing activities for Space Active Antennas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and run test procedures and automated test sequences using test systems according to electrical and functional test specifications.
  • Perform electrical integration of flight equipment using specific automated test equipment and standard instrumentation.
  • Conduct RF measurements on flight equipment using specific automated test equipment and standard instrumentation.
  • Experience in TCL (TERMA) test environment and TCL language programming.
  • Use of JIRA tool for interacting with Design Engineering and Quality.
  • Analysis of test results, generation of test reports, and contribution to Non Conformance Reports definition and support to failure investigations.
Requirements
  • Educational Background: Electrical/Electronics Engineer, Aerospace Engineer, or Telecom Engineer.
  • Knowledge in SW programming (any basic language: C/C++, Java,...).
  • Familiar with different OS (Windows, Unix,...).
  • Use of laboratory equipment (oscilloscope, probes, spectrum analyzers...).
  • Pro-activity and autonomy for activities leadership.
  • Team working ability.
  • Fluent in written and spoken Spanish and English; French would be a plus.
