We are seeking an experienced Payroll Analyst to join our team at Amazon. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering process efficiency results and have experience in Spanish payroll processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the payroll processing cycle for a country or a company depending on size and complexity
  • Payroll balances and controls at input and output (Source to Gross, Gross to Net)
  • Payroll accounting support
  • Complex payroll queries & escalations
  • Vendor operations management
  • Point of contact for stakeholders (Benefits, Compensation, Stock Options, HR Services, Local HR, Recruitment, Accounting, Treasury, and others)
  • Projects: process improvement (Six Sigma), country expansions, new payroll setup

A Day in the Life

As a Payroll Analyst at Amazon, you will have the opportunity to contribute to many cool projects that will have a positive impact on our employees. You will work in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Spanish Payroll
  • Fluent in Spanish and English
  • Advanced Excel (pivot tables, v-lookup, and other formulas)
  • Good analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience with Spanish Labor Code, Taxation, Social Security System

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep knowledge of personal income tax legislation, labor law
  • Familiar with SAP, PeopleSoft, Workday, ADP software
  • Experience with process transitions
  • Sense of innovation
