About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned Field Service Technician to join our team.
This dynamic role combines technical expertise, customer engagement, and international field service work. As a Field Service Technician, you will independently carry out on-site inspections of gear systems used in the cement and mining industries.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, inspection, troubleshooting, and overhaul of industrial gearboxes, couplings, and lubrication systems.
- Conduct on-site supervision and technical inspections of gear systems – including competitor equipment.
- Support with aftermarket services, including parts replacement, upgrades, and retrofits.
- Prepare detailed technical service reports.
- Deliver customer training on equipment use and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, customer policies, and export control standards.
Your Ideal Background:
- Professional fluency in Spanish and English.
- Proven field experience in the cement, mining, or heavy industrial sectors.
- Strong technical knowledge of gear systems, couplings, and drive solutions (training at the beginning of employment).
- Willingness to travel internationally on a frequent basis (Europe, Latin America, and beyond).
- Structured and safety-conscious approach to field service and inspections.
Nice to Have:
- Experience working with OEMs or maintenance contractors in the field.
- Understanding of predictive maintenance techniques and lubrication systems.
- Strong reporting and communication skills.
