**Job Title:** Financial Analyst - Financial Control Specialist

**Job Summary:**

Nomura Holdings, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst - Financial Control Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Financial Control function, you will be responsible for providing financial reporting metrics, managing accounting and internal control systems, and ensuring compliance with regulatory authorities and accounting standards.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Manage and analyze financial data to provide accurate and timely financial reporting metrics
  • Develop and maintain accounting and internal control systems to ensure compliance with regulatory authorities and accounting standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve financial and accounting issues
  • Assist in the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs

**Requirements:**

  • University degree in Accounting or related field
  • Previous accounting experience in an international organization
  • Advanced level skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work accurately and to strict deadlines
