About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Commercial Product Lead to manage our portfolio of hotel partners in Spain and Portugal. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing relationships with our hotel partners while ensuring the optimization of our product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

As a Global Commercial Product Lead at WebBeds, you will:

  • Build and Maintain Relationships: Develop and maintain direct relationships with hotel partners, addressing their queries and operational needs.
  • Contract Management: Assist with loading contracts via the Fresh Desk platform and managing last-minute offers.
  • Product Optimization: Regularly maintain hotel allocations, availability, and stop sales in line with business requirements.
  • Analysis and Recommendations: Analyze production data to recommend and implement follow-up actions with stakeholders.
  • Training and Support: Train hotel partners on supplier interfaces and extranet tools to maximize operational efficiency.
  • Negotiations and Pricing: Undertake competitive price comparisons for assigned destinations to ensure optimal rates.
  • Portfolio Management: Handle a small portfolio of suppliers and inform Contracts Managers of potential leads or opportunities.
  • Interdepartmental Support: Provide inter-departmental support to accounts, reservations, customer care, and content teams as needed.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Commercial Awareness: Strong commercial awareness within the travel industry.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and influencing skills, particularly over the phone.
  • Cultural Competence: Experience in fast-paced, multicultural environments.
  • Problem-Solving: A proactive mindset with the ability to identify and resolve challenges.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with impeccable attention to detail.

  • System Management: Competence in managing multiple systems and prioritizing tasks.
