About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team at the Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal). The successful candidate will be responsible for managing activities of the project INJURLESS, which aims to create a platform to integrate data from genomics and different wearables to properly manage physical activity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop code to connect devices with Garmin SDK
  • Use data generated from wearables to be connected with BLE to Garmin
  • Implement different visualizations of several metrics in Garmin devices
  • Analyze data generated in real scenarios to validate the implementation with data obtained from gold standard procedures
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields with a focus on data analytics
  • Programming experience in R and Python
  • Experience with Garmin devices SDK development
  • Excellent organizational and teamwork skills, with the ability to work autonomously and proactively
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
