At Alstom, we're passionate about shaping the future of transportation. Our diverse team of 80,000 colleagues worldwide is dedicated to creating greener and smarter mobility solutions. We're seeking a talented ERTMS Validation and Verification Designer to join our ERTMS System team in Madrid.

Your role will involve applying your ERTMS expertise to a new cutting-edge field, working closely with young and proactive teammates. You'll provide support to the ERTMS Team to organize and lead project Verification, Integration and Test activities, ensuring the delivery of a complete, correct and accurate Customer Solution in line with Project contractual requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Defining and reviewing verification and testing strategy for ERTMS projects in both factory and site.
  • Ensuring the application and adherence to reference processes, disciplines, methods, and tools.
  • Organizing Kick-off meetings with Project Design team for input document verification, subsystem and system testing.
  • Managing the Requirement Validation Table (RVT) during the whole life cycle.
  • Coordinating and monitoring project Verification, Integration and Test activities.

As a key member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to develop your ERTMS technical competence and act as a mentor for new V&V team members. You'll also collaborate in tender phase, providing verification and validation technical documentation and testing effort estimations.

Key testing activities include:

  • Test environment deployment and configuration.
  • Test specifications definition.
  • Test execution and reporting.
