We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronics Engineer to join our team at ARQUIMEA SPACE, where we develop spaceflight parts and equipment for satellites and launchers. This role will involve working on complex space-grade electronics systems containing SoC and high-end FPGAs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Architectural design and implementation of space electronics equipment
- Design, simulation, testing, and qualification of complex space-grade electronics systems
- Testing and support to qualification of integrated circuits according to ECSS or MIL standards
- Design, implementation, and delivery of integrated circuits testing setups
- Field trips for radiation, vibration, and shock testing of space electronics equipment
- Mentoring less experienced designers
- Supporting EEE parts and electronics equipment failure investigations
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- A university degree and/or PhD in Engineering or Physics with a specialization in electronics
- Solid knowledge of electronics design
- Experience developing space hardware
- Proficiency in using circuit capture tools (Altium) and simulation tools at system and circuit level
- Experience in component testing, laboratory equipment use, and setting up test systems
- Knowledge of MIL/ECSS standards for HW and SW development
- Proficiency in English and the ability to travel to the US
We offer a competitive salary range of €70,000 - €90,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
