Job Description:

This role is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to the production of high-quality parts and tooling. As a Water Jet Operator, you will be responsible for operating water jet machines to cut complex shapes and designs, handling material from rough stock to finished part, and maintaining equipment and work area cleanliness.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate water jet machines to achieve precise cuts and dimensions
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure accurate interpretation of blueprints and design documents
  • Lift and maneuver heavy materials, ensuring safety and efficiency
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work accurately under pressure
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends
  • Experience with water jet machines, drill presses, saws, grinders, and/or sheet metal fabrication equipment
  • Basic math skills, including calculation of material fabrication
  • Knowledge of blueprint reading, measuring tape use, caliper operation, and following written instructions
