Product Development Engineer for Filter and Dryer Belts
Sefar is seeking a skilled Product Development Engineer to join our team in the development of high-quality filter and dryer belts.
About the Role
As a Product Development Engineer, you will be responsible for the development of our filter and dryer belts, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement fabrication solutions for filter and dryer belts, ensuring they meet customer requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and develop new product opportunities, including product specifications and standards.
- Conduct market research and analysis to stay up-to-date on industry trends and customer needs.
- Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of filtration and drying equipment, including product specifications and standards.
- Work closely with production and process engineering teams to identify and implement technology and product improvement opportunities.
- Contribute to the development of global standards for fabrics and fabricated items, in collaboration with global lead teams.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor or Master's degree in Engineering and Textile and/or Mechanical Separation.
- Strong problem-solving ability and proven skills in cross-thinking and creative thinking.
- Excellent decision-making and communication skills, with the ability to resolve disputes and conflicts.
- Demonstrated ability to work in international, cross-functional teams and build a network beyond direct reporting lines.
- Target and solution-oriented, with a strong sense of responsibility for own actions and consistent behavior towards oneself and the environment.
- Broad knowledge and experience in the filtration industry or filtration equipment manufacturer (OEM) or filter products manufacturing technologies.
