Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Critical Care Nurse to join our team for Air Medical Transfers in Dubai. As a member of our specialized medical team, you will be responsible for providing advanced medical care during transportation via air, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of critically ill pediatric and neonatal patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, critical nursing care to pediatric and neonatal patients during air medical transfers.
- Continuously monitor and assess the patient's condition using advanced medical equipment, responding swiftly to any changes or emergencies.
- Work closely with other healthcare professionals such as doctors, paramedics, and ground crew to ensure smooth patient transfers and optimal care during transport.
- Assist with the stabilization of patients prior to transfer, and ensure comprehensive care upon arrival at the destination medical facility.
- Maintain thorough medical records, including patient progress and condition during the flight, for handover to receiving medical staff.
Requirements:
- 4-year bachelor of science in nursing (BSN)
- Specialization in Pediatric, Neonatal, or Critical Care Nursing with at least 3 years of experience
- Experience in Air Medical Transport or Emergency Medical Services (EMS) is highly preferred
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications are required
- Strong ability to remain calm and make quick, critical decisions in high-pressure environments
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, particularly in a multidisciplinary and multicultural setting
- Physical ability to work in a fast-paced, confined environment (aircraft cabin) for extended periods
- Willingness to travel and relocate to Dubai, UAE
- Registered with the Dubai Health Authority (DHA)
