The role of a Financial Planning Manager involves overseeing the financial planning and control functions within an organization. This includes preparation, coordination, and follow-up of annual budgets, as well as regular forecast preparation and variance analysis.
Key responsibilities include supporting the company's strategy, preparing financial reports and monthly reporting with key KPIs, reviewing and preparing monthly accounting closings and variance analysis, conducting cost-benefit analyses for new investments or hires, controlling costs and analyzing deviations, implementing improvement processes, and liaising with headquarters.
This position requires a degree in Business Administration and Management, a minimum of 5 years' experience in similar roles within Finance Departments of multinational companies, experience in reporting within a multinational environment, proficiency in Microsoft Office, high-level English and Spanish language skills, and knowledge of Italian, the Spanish General Accounting Plan, and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
A highly organized and autonomous professional is required for this role, with strong analytical, detail-oriented, and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
