The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SIM Engineer to join our SIM Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering state-of-the-art technology projects with global connectivity reach to the automotive, agriculture, and transport industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and document new features or products to our existing SIM/eSIM solutions for M2M and IoT customers.
  • Research, learn, and showcase new technologies to improve our existing connectivity product offering via enhanced SIM/eSIM features.
  • Participate in the development of new product opportunities for the business.
  • Design, develop, test SIM-based applications and tools supporting SIM applications and their integration within the ecosystem.
  • Learn and solve customer pain-points for improved end-user experience and customer satisfaction.
What You'll Gain

This is a great opportunity for a Senior SIM Engineer to gain more knowledge of the complete End-to-End process of SIM/eSIM ordering and provisioning, SIM/eSIM Over-the-Air (OTA) infrastructure and management, SIM Remote SIM Provisioning (RSP) solutions for M2M and IoT, SIM – device – network interaction, and more.

Requirements
  • Third-level qualification in a technology discipline such as engineering, computer science, or a similar discipline.
  • 6 – 9 years working in a technology organization, preferably telecoms technology, with up to 5 years' experience in SIM/eSIM/OTA engineering R&D.
  • Strong working experience and deep understanding of Javacard development and testing, Remote SIM Provisioning technologies, GSMA SGP.02, GSMA SGP.22/SGP.32 and beyond, ETSI/3GPP smart card/(U)SIM specifications, ISO 7816, Global Platform 2.2+ specifications, On-hands modem/TCU testing, SIM OTA development and testing, SIM Security knowledge, Monitoring and alerting tools, Java, C#, SQL, scripting knowledge.
  • Proactive and open-minded person with analytical & problem-solving thinking, Fast learner who likes to deep-dive within multiple technologies, Quality focused individual with curiosity for technology, Ability to work unsupervised and take responsibility for the completion of tasks, Effective communication skills.
