Job Description: As a Senior Space Satellite Operations Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in leading our Mission Control Center team and contributing to the design, preparation, and execution of satellite operations. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and planning in-orbit LEO satellite operations, designing and preparing procedures for different missions, and analyzing telemetry data to monitor satellite health. You'll also work closely with our software team to specify user requirements and participate in system-level test campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ongoing monitoring and operations planning of in-orbit LEO satellites and payloads
  • Design and preparation of operations for different missions
  • Preparation of procedures and sequences for satellite platforms and payloads
  • Analysis of telemetry data to monitor satellite health
  • Preparation and execution of LEOP and Commissioning campaigns
  • Preparation and execution of routine and contingency operations

Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you'll need 5 years of experience as an Operations Engineer, knowledge of common spacecraft architecture and subsystems, proficiency in STK, and experience with Python or other scripting languages. Calmness under pressure and methodical approach to following procedures are also essential qualities.
