About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Standards Payments/FX Specialist to join our Development Team. As a key member of our team, you will assist a senior Standards Specialist in standards development and infrastructural projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze business requirements to develop or maintain MT and/or ISO 20022 payments/FX messages or APIs.
- Support and maintain working groups to gather requirements and formulate market practices.
- Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to harmonize market practice and drive adoption.
- Provide support in the maintenance of payments/FX MT and/or ISO 20022 messages.
- Respond to customer questions related to the content, use, and implementation of MT and ISO 20022 messages.
Competency Profile
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Business modeling skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical terms.
- Ability to adhere to strict timeframes and deadlines.
- Energetic, eager to learn, and self-driven.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
- Broad understanding of payments, particularly cross-border international payments and/or foreign exchange.
- Deep operational knowledge of business processes, standards, and industry actors involved in payments/FX transaction processing.
- Understanding of international standards and their role in the financial system.
