The Role

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Trainee to join our team at Idneo, a global tech company founded in 2011. As a Cybersecurity Trainee, you will be responsible for developing security concepts and security architectural design for automotive Electronic Control Units (ECUs) up to CAL 4 in accordance with the standard ISO 21434.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop security concepts and security architectural design for automotive ECUs.
  • Deploy the internal roadmap of the organization.
  • Foster the security culture within the organization.
  • Derive, specify, and analyze security requirements in accordance with the state-of-the-art of automotive standards (SPICE V-model).
  • Execute security analyses such as thread modeling and vulnerability analyses.
  • Perform and coordinate project activities as well as verification and confirmation reviews.
  • Support security safety audits and assessments internally and with 3rd party assessors.
  • Ensure safety case completion.
  • Technical education or background in Electronics or Telecommunication Engineering.
  • Knowledge in the field of cryptography, and embedded system security is a plus.
  • Independent, systematic, and process-oriented approach, great initiative, and sense of responsibility.
  • Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions or departments.
  • Knowledge in the field of automotive embedded systems development is a plus.
  • Experience in performing thread modeling and vulnerability analyses is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the standard ISO 21434 is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the Black Duck SCA tool is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the Kali Linux for penetration testing is a plus.
  • Speak and write English very well and enjoy working in international teams.
