Logistics Coordinator
We are looking for a skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our logistics department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient transportation of goods and materials.
The ideal candidate will have experience in managing daily transport processes, including shipment planning, execution control, and Freight Bill & Audit support. You will use Lead Logistics Partner Solution 4PL tools to organize transport requirements mainly road transport as advised by customer plants.
You will serve as the first point of contact for supply chain partners regarding transport inquiries and collaborate closely to implement integrated transportation solutions. Your responsibilities will include establishing a link between the Lead Logistics Partner Solution 4PL, customer logistics departments, suppliers, and carriers to meet customer requirements.
You will ensure efficient inbound and outbound material and container flows within a predefined transport network. This includes monitoring shipment status, managing exceptions, and supporting contingency planning. Additionally, you will handle spot buy processes for expedite shipments and support system-related queries.
We are looking for someone with attention to detail and problem-solving skills for transportation issues. You should be able to fulfill daily tasks under time pressure and be self-sufficient and team-oriented. Fluency in Spanish and English verbal and written is required, while fluency in French or German is an advantage. At least 1 year of experience in a transport & logistics environment is necessary.
