- Contribute to improving aircraft availability and mission success by leveraging in-service data hosted in big data platforms.
- Reduce unscheduled maintenance through custom alerts, recommendations, and analysis of aircraft systems and equipment.
- Optimize fleet operation with health monitoring solutions and data analytics-driven diagnostic tools.
Requirements:
- Strong focus on business needs, extracting and integrating structured and unstructured data from various databases/data-stores.
- Develop, test, and implement analytical models to identify meaningful patterns or trends from complex data sets and types.
- Implement analytics pipelines according to business needs.
- Analyze and improve the accuracy, precision, and recall of models.
- Communicate findings through effective data visualizations adapted to the audience and/or final user.
- Interface between functions, data ecosystem, and requested solution.
- Coach functions in data-driven mindset.
- Contribute and share best practices, findings, and techniques with the wider data science community.
Desired Skills:
- Computer science, aeronautical, industrial, or similar engineering degree, physics, mathematics-related degrees welcome.
- Experience as health engineer and/or health data analyst.
- Experience with onboard aircraft recording systems (ATA45) and/or ground support systems.
- Knowledge of aircraft maintenance processes and procedures.
- Experience in customer services engineering, IT/IM, design offices valuable.
- Programming languages: Python, SQL, Java.
- Appreciated additional tools exposure, knowledge: JIRA, Confluence, Spotfire, GIT.
- Experience working in Agile methodology.
- Data analytics, data engineering, big data, data management knowledge and experience key for position.
- English: Advanced, to work with multinational team.
- Spanish: Advanced.
