Job Title: System Engineer

Thales is seeking a skilled System Engineer to join our team in Madrid, Spain. As a System Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance and updating of Command and Control Systems for the Spanish Army.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain C2 SW systems
  • Update SW & HW in different customer systems
  • Prepare the means and documentation necessary to deploy C2 systems within customer nodes
  • Solve any incidence that may occur in deployment
  • Assure that all SW is cyphered & secured
Requirements:
  • Administration of Microsoft Active Directory environments
  • Application of the STIC guides of the National Cryptological Center (CCN)
  • RAID planning and configuration in servers and disk cabinets
  • Client-server services implementation
  • Hardware and software licensing
  • Implementation and configuration of Windows Deployment Services
  • Disk encryption
  • PowerShell
  • Configuration of routers and switches
Desirable Skills:
  • Hands-on experience configuring and using Acronis products
  • Implementation and management of data backup and recovery solutions
  • Experience configuring storage arrays
  • Updating systems at the hardware, software and firmware level
  • Light notions in Cloud computing environments
  • Application of Agile frameworks
