Postdoctoral Researcher in Green Synthesis of MXenes/Perovskite Solar Cell Heterojunctions

We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team at the Institut Català de Nanociència i Nanotecnologia (ICN2) in Barcelona, Spain. The successful candidate will work on the green synthesis of MXenes and Halide Perovskites for solar energy conversion.
Research Area:The Nanostructured Materials for Photovoltaic Energy Group at ICN2 focuses on the development of nanostructured materials for solar energy conversion. Our research lines include the synthesis and characterization of MXenes and Halide Perovskites, as well as their application in solar cells and other energy-related devices.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:- Synthesis and functionalization of MXenes and Halide Perovskites.
- Fabrication of functionalized MXene/Perovskite heterojunctions and multijunctions.
- Stability analysis of materials and devices following the ISOS protocols.
- Data analysis and treatment.
- Preparation of scientific manuscripts and presentations.
- PhD degree in physics, chemistry, materials science, nanotechnology, electronics or closely related discipline.
- Experience in synthesis of materials, device fabrication, and stability analyses of solar cells.
- Knowledge of ISOS protocols and data management.
The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and international research environment. The contract will be for 1 year, with the possibility of extension. The salary will depend on qualifications and experience.
