Job Title: Lead DevOps AWS Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead DevOps AWS Engineer to join our team at AgileEngine. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our cloud infrastructure across multiple environments and platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and improve cloud infrastructure across multiple environments and platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Manage deployment processes for multiple feature and platform services, including on-premises
  • Maintain and improve application availability and performance for a global portfolio of customers
  • Identify manual processes and design and implement automation solutions
  • Guide teams in the design and implementation of microservice architectures
  • Support incident response teams with in-depth infrastructure and service knowledge
  • Manage APIs that support both design-time and run-time application functionality
  • Collaborate with device client engineering teams to ensure that services meet performance, availability, and functional goals
  • Maintain a constant focus on security by design, including the mitigation of identified vulnerabilities
Requirements:
  • A degree in computer science or equivalent education and/or proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar software engineering role
  • Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab CI/CD)
  • Proficiency with Kubernetes and Docker container management
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform
  • Experience with one or more of the main cloud providers (GCP, Azure, or AWS)
  • Experience with GitOps and source control management tools like Git
  • Solid understanding of network, security, and cloud infrastructure
  • Scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash)
  • Good knowledge of the HTTP protocol and how HTTP-based microservices work
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Ability to contribute effectively as a team member while also excelling in independently completing tasks and responsibilities
