**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Frontend Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of our Digital Experience Platform. As a Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for reviewing UI/UX designs, taking technical decisions, and implementing frontend architecture using modern coding, security, and tool standards.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Independently drive the further development of the BASF Digital Experience Platform

• Develop frontend architecture and implement modern coding, security, and tool standards

• Monitor and improve frontend performance

• Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and other team members to create a cohesive and functional product

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in frontend development to continuously improve the application's UI and UX

**Requirements**

• Bachelor's or Diploma in (business) informatics or completed IT training

• Multiple years of hands-on development experience in Angular (v.12+)

• Multiple years of experience in creating responsive designs

• In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, RxJS, CSS, HTML, and REST API (JSON)

• Knowledge of testing frameworks including Jest

• Experience in implementing and running frontends in cloud environments (AWS/Azure preferred) using CI/CD pipelines, IaC (Infrastructure as Code), and CDN technologies

• Basic experience with regards to oAuth2 and npm

• Ideally knowledge about SEO and server-side rendering

• Ideally experience in developing web components
