Are you a seasoned IT professional looking for a new challenge? Do you have a passion for troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues? We're seeking a highly skilled Senior L2 Application Support Engineer to join our Digital Banking team at Western Union.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and develop digital banking infrastructure in assigned regions
  • Provide expert support for maintenance, enhancements, and security
  • Help address outages, intermittent issues, and develop small enhancements
  • Enhance IT support and application maintenance across assigned regions
  • Support local regulatory reporting and product customizations
  • Provide 24/7 support for digital bank and wallet IT operations
  • Assist in triage alongside vendor resources
  • Support daily, weekly, and monthly core banking operating models
  • Partner across the organization to optimize customer journeys

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in building business-critical products and launching them on the market
  • Experience setting up and/or running retail banking IT systems and networks
  • Ability to evaluate business needs and achieve alignment among stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience operating in a L1, L2, and/or L3 IT support model
  • Direct experience with technologies such as Mulesoft, Outsystems, or Mambu
