Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic student to join our team as a Software Development Intern at Axpo. As a key member of our development team, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with modern tools and frameworks, enhancing both your technical and teamwork skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Automate end-to-end (E2E) tests using Playwright or Cypress frameworks to ensure seamless software delivery.
  • Contribute to Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline improvements, including containerization of tests with Docker, to optimize our software development lifecycle.
  • Develop a Proof of Concept (PoC) for a trigger monitoring system using Airflow or similar tools to enhance our software monitoring capabilities.
  • Optimize and organize the Python repository, including code structuring and creating shared libraries, to improve code maintainability and reusability.
  • Debug and troubleshoot workflows to improve system stability and ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Document workflows, processes, and improvements for team clarity and knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or have hands-on development experience.
  • Familiarity with software development and testing methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
  • Basic understanding of programming languages such as C# or Python, with a strong desire to learn and grow.
  • Interest in automation, CI/CD pipelines, and orchestration tools, with a passion for innovation and improvement.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
