About the Role

Veeva Systems is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our team. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our data, extracting insights from large datasets, and providing data-driven recommendations to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain complex data models and databases
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends and patterns
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Ensure data quality and integrity through data validation and quality control
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven solutions
Requirements
  • University degree in an analytical or technical field, e.g., bioinformatics, applied mathematics
  • 3+ years of working experience in data analysis or data quality, with life science data experience
  • Experience in complex organizational structures, reporting to senior management
  • Proven track record managing data analytics projects
  • Advanced SQL skills (joins, subqueries, subquery factoring)
  • Proficient in Python for data manipulation and analysis
  • Experience with large databases and complex datasets
  • Skilled in data visualization tools (e.g., Superset, Tableau, Power BI)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Experience with workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow)
  • Experience with data governance and data quality frameworks
  • Strong understanding of statistical analysis and modeling
  • Ability to create and maintain automated reporting systems
