About the Role
AECOM is seeking a talented Junior Architect to join our Buildings + Places team in Madrid. As a Junior Architect, you will be part of a collaborative and creative team, working on diverse projects across multiple geographies.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in creating and developing designs, functional layouts, diagrams, and presentation materials based on complex programming requirements.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team (engineering, urban design, and others) to support the design and construction of a variety of international and national projects.
- Develop designs from concept to construction documents.
- Assist senior team members with tasks including updating logs and checklists.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Architecture.
- Previous experience as an architect with a focus on design development.
- Proficiency in BIM environment and Autodesk Revit.
- Proven experience with other design software (Autocad, Photoshop, Rhinoceros, etc.).
- Fluency in English and Spanish languages (verbal and written).
- German will be a plus.
- Well-organized with the ability to manage time in a fast-paced work environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly motivated with the ability to work independently within a collaborative team.
- Proactive and detail-oriented.
- Creative and collaborative with a passion for designing and detailing.
