Electronics Engineer - Power Electronics

Wallbox is a leading company in the electric vehicle charging and energy management systems market, with a presence in 96 countries. We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Engineer - Power Electronics to join our team in Barcelona.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in power electronics, with experience in designing and developing high-voltage systems, as well as a solid understanding of digital control techniques. They will be responsible for analyzing product requirements, applying solutions accordingly, and verifying system functionality.

The successful candidate will have a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in power electronics design and implementation. They will be skilled in working with high-voltage development LAB environments, with experience in related instrumentation such as oscilloscopes, programmable power supplies/loads, and power analyzers.

The role will involve working in an interdisciplinary engineering environment, collaborating with HW/FW/SW/MEC teams, and scouting new technologies and trends related to EV charging systems. The candidate will also be responsible for mentoring junior engineers and contributing to the development of engineering technical documentation and reports.

Requirements
  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent
  • 5+ years' experience in power electronics design and implementation
  • Strong background in high-voltage systems and digital control techniques
  • Experience in working with high-voltage development LAB environments
  • Skilled in related instrumentation such as oscilloscopes, programmable power supplies/loads, and power analyzers
  • Fluent spoken and written English
