We are seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Fellow to join our Analytical Characterization R&D team in Jacksonville, FL. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and validating analytical methods to support the development of ocular medical device products.
Key Responsibilities:- Participate in analytical chemistry activities related to the development of ocular medical device products.
- Perform method development, optimization, validation, and transfer activities.
- Collaborate with outside researchers to bring together external and internal expertise and identify new technologies to stay current.
- Represent Analytical Characterization R&D on project teams and present data within the department and/or project team with appropriate statistical analysis.
- Initiate and write technical reports with general supervisory input.
- PhD in Analytical Chemistry received within the last 3 years or by the start date of this role for current students.
- Advanced knowledge and experience with chromatography and mass spectrometry.
- Advanced understanding and application of principles, concepts, and practices of Analytical Chemistry.
- Method development experience.
- Experience in an FDA-regulated environment.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and design of experiments.
- Basic experience with research and development of novel materials, designs, or processes.
- Basic knowledge of intraocular lens products with respective competitive landscape.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven record of delivering project results.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate with internal and external resources to meet project objectives.
This is a two-year duration based role with eligibility for severance. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan.
