Job Description
We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our team at Corbion, where we champion preservation in all its forms.
The successful candidate will be part of a knowledgeable, versatile, and creative team, working closely with Category Managers to develop and execute category strategies, engage with the supplier base, and support internal cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Support in the development of sourcing strategies for product-related categories
- Negotiate and secure best Total Cost Ownership contracts with suppliers
- Develop in-depth knowledge of assigned categories' impact of price volatility on business performance
- Support Category Managers with analytical support, including spend analysis, market analysis, and supplier analysis
- Follow Purchasing procedures, ensuring they align with ISO and company requirements
About You
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a Bachelor or Master's degree in economics, business, or engineering, with 1-3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in chemicals. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel are essential.
Fluent in English, with a drive for results and continuous improvement, and the ability to lead cross-functional projects.
This role is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in procurement and contribute to the success of Corbion.
Key Qualifications
