Job Summary

Amazon is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team as a Technical Account Manager. As a trusted advisor and cloud operations architect, you will work closely with our Enterprise Support customers to help them gain the most value from cloud technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive customer adoption and use of AWS services.
  • Provide advocacy and strategic technical guidance to help plan and build solutions using best practices.
  • Proactively keep customer AWS environments operationally healthy and reduce cost and complexity.
  • Build trusting relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and technical challenges.
  • Drive technical discussions regarding incidents, trade-offs, and risk management.
  • Consult with a range of partners from developers through to C-suite executives.
  • Collaborate with AWS Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services Consultants, and Sales Account Managers.
  • Proactively find opportunities for customers to gain additional value from AWS.
  • Solve a variety of problems across different customers as they migrate their workloads to the cloud.
  • Uplift customer capabilities by running workshops and other enablement sessions.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of technical engineering experience.
  • Experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting for three (3) of the following: compute/storage/networking/CDN/databases/DevOps/big data and analytics/security/applications development in a distributed systems environment.
  • Bachelor's degree.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings.
  • Experience in internal enterprise or external customer-facing environment as a technical lead.
