Energy Transition and Power Grid Development
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Power Systems Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in leading system studies, network modeling, and energy system modeling.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Leading and supervising power system studies
- Network modeling of full national transmission grids, local distribution, and industrial grids
- Liaison between system studies, network design, and energy system modeling
- Mentoring, coaching, and developing team members
- Project management of complete study projects as well as work packages
- Providing support for proposal preparation
- Liaising and communicating effectively with the team, clients, and stakeholders
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical Engineering with power systems specialization and at least seven years of relevant experience. In-depth knowledge of power network simulations in fields such as grid integration, steady-state studies, dynamic and transient simulations, grid code compliance, power quality studies, and harmonics studies is required.
Experience in energy system master planning with PLEXOS, grid connection of renewable energy plants, high-voltage and extra-high-voltage systems, and knowledge of typical components of high- and medium-voltage systems would be beneficial.
The successful candidate will be fluent in English and have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including email correspondence, technical report writing, and presentations.
