Job Title: Payroll Coordinator

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Coordinator to join our pre-opening team at SLS Barcelona. As a key member of our People & Culture department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing, as well as providing administrative support to the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process payroll transactions, including salary payments, benefits, and taxes, in accordance with company policies and local labor laws.
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel files and records for all employees.
  • Coordinate with external companies to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Support the People & Culture department with recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent and build a strong employer brand.
  • Collaborate with the Assistant Director of People & Culture on European and global projects and rollouts.
Requirements:
  • University degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in payroll and HR administration in a hospitality or similar industry.
  • Knowledge of Spanish labor law and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain attention to detail.
