We are seeking a highly skilled Renewable Energy Technical Specialist to join our team at Edp Energias De Portugal S.A. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and cooperation with the M&A teams for the analysis of business opportunities and initiatives worldwide, related wind farm, PV plant, and BESS projects.
Main Responsibilities
- Perform technical analysis of available project documents.
- Execute project site visits and report.
- Project assessment.
- Permits and licenses technical assessment.
- WTG and PV technology assessment.
- Electrical infrastructures design assessment.
- Construction assessment.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Engineering from an accredited educational institution.
- 3-6 years combined of technical/engineering and construction management experience in the renewables energy industry.
- Specific knowledge of Solar PV and Wind design practices and BOP-BOS engineering.
- Knowledge of contracting Engineering Services and EPC's regarding renewable energy projects.
- Proficient knowledge of the full Microsoft Office suite.
Language Skills
- Spanish.
- English - C1.
Behavioral Requirements
- Ability to work in a multi-national team.
- Strong technical, analytical, quantitative, strategic, and management skills.
- Ability to quickly understand the basics of a variety of subjects relating to renewable energy.
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
