We're looking for recent graduates to join our dynamic team as IT Continuity Resilience Specialists. This role is part of our START TECH program, where you'll have the opportunity to learn and grow in the field of IT Continuity and related Cybersecurity, Audit, Risk, and Compliance topics.

About the Role

The purpose of this role is to ensure the IT products and services at Roche are resilient, risks are managed proactively, and the organization remains compliant with relevant regulations and standards. You will be part of a global team that develops and maintains the Business Continuity Plan for Roche Informatics, ensuring that Informatics prepares for potential disruptions.

Your Key Responsibilities

As an IT Continuity Resilience Specialist, your day-to-day activities will include:

  • Providing assistance, consultancy, and guidance to various informatics areas & domains represented in the team;
  • Ensuring that appropriate actions are taken to minimize the impact on the organization's operations and reputation during crises;
  • Generating insights from data to provide strategic direction for optimizing crisis response and prioritizing improvement efforts during normal operations;
  • Assisting IT System Owners and Product Managers in developing, documenting, and updating Disaster Recovery Plans / Resilience Concepts for critical IT services;
  • Designing and delivering training and awareness sessions to foster a culture embracing Reliability and Continuity as key values;
  • Coodinating and facilitating exercises/simulations to enhance the IT organization's preparedness and response capabilities;
  • Participating in audits and inspections, providing necessary continuity-related documentation and information;

What We Offer

This position comes with a competitive salary of around $75,000 per year, depending on experience. As part of the START TECH program, you can expect additional benefits such as access to cutting-edge technologies and IT practices. A strong candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
