Job Mission:

The Senior Product Manager Endoscopy develops specific marketing plans and activities for products of the different franchises to establish, enhance or distinguish product placement within the competitive arena.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops business plans and product positioning in the marketplace, oversees market research, monitors competitive activity, and identifies customer needs.
  • Establishes pricing strategies and works with engineering, manufacturing, and sales to develop new products or enhance existing products or product lines.
  • Authors and leverages marketing team to create key strategy documents: strategic plan, annual marketing plan, product launch plans, etc.
  • Surfaces new or unexpressed customer needs, leading to product/program improvements.
  • Drives segmentation and targeting methods to improve commercial efficiency.
  • Develops pricing approach consistent with the marketing strategy and brand positioning.
  • Accurately forecasts resource needs.
  • Establishes metrics and goals/success criteria and milestones.
  • Demonstrates financial acumen.
  • Holds self and others accountable to deliver high quality results with passion, energy, and drive to meet business priorities.
  • Mentors, develops and inspires others.
  • Collaborates and influences others on cross-functional teams, advancing partnerships to achieve business objectives.
  • Develops key relationships with industry/market thought leaders, organizations, and institutions, in collaboration with other marketing leaders.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3+ years of Marketing or sales experience in the Medical Devices industry.
  • Diploma or Degree in related field (MBA or Higher Education preferable).
  • Knowledge of Medical Device environment & Medical Device regulations a must.
  • Ideally previous experience with Endoscopy products.
  • Excellent communication skills with proficiency in spoken and written English and Spanish.
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal communications skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while delivering on established timelines.
  • Ability to be persuasive in the absence of organizational authority.
  • Must be able to understand and work within complex interdivisional procedures and policies.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
