Postdoctoral Researcher in Supramolecular Peptide Nanostructures

We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our team at the University of A Coruña, working on the design of peptide-based building blocks to obtain stimuli-responsive self-assembled nanostructures for their application in different biological scenarios.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and prepare peptide-based building blocks for the creation of stimuli-responsive nanostructures.
- Characterize and optimize the properties of the nanostructures.
- Collaborate with the research team to advance the project goals.
- Ph.D. in a relevant field (chemistry, biology, or related field).
- Experience in peptide chemistry and nanostructure design.
- Strong background in research and development.
The position is for 1 year, starting in January-February 2025. The work will be carried out under the supervision of Dr. Elena Pazos at the CICA research center.
CICA is a research center that aims to promote the advancement and excellence of basic and applied R&D in the chemical, biological, and biomedical sciences.
