Accountant to Support Onshore Wind Power Portfolio

At Peak Wind, we are seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our team and support the financial management of a portfolio of onshore wind farms in Spain.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage accounting functions, including general ledger, journal entries, and accounting systems, to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Prepare quarterly, semi-annual, and annual financial statements for all entities within the portfolio.
  • Develop and maintain financial reporting, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Lead the annual audit process and ensure compliance with Spanish GAAP.
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable, including month-end reconciliation with bank statements.
  • Manage fixed assets and treasury functions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or business administration.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional accounting experience, with a strong track record in Spanish GAAP.
  • Experience working with renewable assets and multiple accounting systems is highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex information effectively.
  • Fluent English language skills, both written and verbal.
