We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Accounting Manager to join our team at Qorvo. As a key member of our EMEA accounting team, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end operational accounting processes and activities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide effective delivery of record-to-report and general ledger processes, including journal entries, accruals, and month-end closing for Qorvo's EMEA entities.
- Support the EMEA region's Acquire-to-Retire process, including accounting for fixed assets.
- Provide standard performance reporting for the EMEA accounting team.
- Lead financial statement audit support for US GAAP and statutory.
- Manage execution of accounting procedures for the EMEA team and engage in critical and confidential aspects of accounting.
- Extensive proven experience in delivering regional EMEA accounting activities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage work effectively and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Experience in SAP is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting and five to seven years of US GAAP accounting experience.
- CPA or Chartered Accountant designation.
- Fluent in English and Spanish, with additional proficiency in French, German, and/or Dutch a plus.
- Project Management: Develops work plans, identifies data needs, and successfully interprets analytic insights.
- Business & Strategic Acumen: Understands Qorvo's business processes and key strategies.
- Financial Statement Acumen: Can create core financial statements and navigate footnote disclosures.
- Performance Reporting & Analysis: Creates and provides robust performance reporting metrics and analysis.
- Cost Productivity Management: Understands and applies variable and fixed cost drivers.
- Controls, Compliance & Risk: Identifies potential threats and designs control processes.
