About ELIS Murcia
ELIS Murcia is an international British curriculum school for boys and girls aged 3 – 18, founded in 1990. We follow the National Curriculum for England and Wales, preparing our pupils for further education both in Spain and abroad. Approximately 80% of the school day is taught in English. Our values emphasize the academic and social development of each pupil through individual attention and multilingualism.
The benefits of being an international British school include a sound foundation of the Spanish Curriculum and the innovation and hands-on character of the British Curriculum. As a result, our students graduate with dual official qualifications: the British IGCSEs and the Spanish 'Graduate in Compulsory Secondary Education' certificate at the end of Secondary, and the Spanish 'Baccalaureate' certificate and English A-Level certificates at the end of their Sixth Form studies. This allows them to apply successfully to top universities worldwide.
We are now seeking an experienced Academic Leader - Middle School Faculty to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the academic and pastoral development of students transitioning from Lower School to Upper School at Montevida
- Collaborate closely with subject teachers and Heads of Faculty to ensure a comprehensive British curriculum while fostering a positive and supportive school environment
A competitive salary of £38,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience, reflects the importance we place on this role.
