About the Role

As a Clinical Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in building strong relationships with key opinion leaders, researchers, and healthcare providers to advance our mission of improving patient outcomes. You will be responsible for promoting our solutions, adapting our strategy to the reality of the area, and developing and implementing a tactical plan to achieve our objectives.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Build and Cultivate Relationships: Identify and cultivate a network of passionate advocates, including KOLs, clinical and research leaders, academicians, clinicians, medical directors, and other healthcare providers within your assigned region(s).
  • Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and implement action plans tailored to your territory, accounts, and clients, ensuring alignment with global strategies and achieving set objectives.
  • Quality Medical Engagement: Conduct well-prepared and planned medical visits, applying effective sales techniques and skills. Adapt messages to each customer segment according to their unique requirements and needs.
  • Educational Support: Provide education and support regarding disease state awareness and clinical data to stakeholders, tailoring messages to the audience. Facilitate educational sessions and scientific exchanges within the oncology and pathology communities.
  • Scientific Expertise: Act as a scientific expert, presenting Roche products and facilitating scientific discussions at national, regional, and local forums, including symposia, tumor boards, and training meetings.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify growth opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
  • Customer Support: Provide local first-level customer service, responding promptly to scientific and genomic inquiries from healthcare providers. Assist with the identification and monitoring of investigator-initiated studies.
  • Communication and Training: Demonstrate excellent communication skills, effectively educating healthcare professionals about our technologies and their clinical benefits. Contribute to the development of promotional materials and scientific messaging.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in biomedicine, human biology, or genetics-related field
  • Prior Professional Experience in an academic and/or life science setting
  • Oncology Experience
  • Fluency in Spanish with strong proficiency in English is mandatory
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex scientific information to a diverse audience
  • Relationship-Building Skills: Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals at all levels
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex data, identify challenges, and develop effective solutions
