Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Commodity Management Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Office & Factory Supplies (OFS) Category for the SE&A Region, as well as key Global projects for all OFS Commodities.
Key Responsibilities- Define and Implement Commodity Strategy: Develop and communicate a regional commodity structure and sourcing strategy to drive business growth and efficiency.
- Procurement Risk Management: Identify and manage procurement risks, opportunities, and market forces to avoid potential damage and exploit potential opportunities.
- Supplier Management: Lead regional tendering, contracting, and supplier activities, including supplier selection, qualification, and development.
- Savings and Supply Base Optimization: Analyze and coordinate efforts to implement strategic initiatives and programs to drive savings, supply base optimization, cash flow improvement, and e-Auctions.
- Team Management: Coordinate and manage a virtual cross-functional team to achieve optimum conditions and savings.
- Savings Reporting: Generate, document, and implement savings, including CNI, and plan, monitor, and report on relevant KPIs to contribute to the success of the business.
- Customer Care: Cooperate closely with internal customers to ensure customer care and early involvement.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate frame contracts and define core supplier and service assortment.
- Passion for Renewable Energy: A strong passion for renewable energy and a sense of the importance of leading the change.
- Education and Experience: A successful university degree in a technical and/or commercial area, with approximately 4 years of relevant working experience in Procurement.
- Commodity Knowledge: Comprehensive experience in commodities such as Factory Supplies.
- Communication and Analytical Skills: Excellent communication skills for interacting with internal business and external collaboration partners/suppliers at senior management level, as well as strong analytical and planning skills.
- Negotiation and Project Management Skills: Excellent and experienced negotiation skills in procurement, as well as project management skills, including the ability to self-manage workload, manage multiple projects in parallel, set target dates, meet deadlines, follow processes, and deploy a commodity roadmap of projects.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in English (C1) both orally and in writing.
- Flexibility: Flexibility to travel approximately once or twice a month if needed.
