Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to join our HR & Payroll team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional services to our international client portfolio, working closely with HRP Officers, and supporting the Payroll Team Leader and Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the maintenance of client payroll accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Spanish legislation.
- Distribute workload between accounting officers, review their work, and provide feedback for improvement.
- Main point of contact for clients, except for those requiring higher-level contact.
- Review and process payroll data, including maintaining paper and electronic records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Respond to client inquiries regarding payroll transactions, research and resolve payroll-related issues, and coordinate social security and tax filings.
- Assist in the set-up and implementation of new clients, and support the Payroll Supervisor in coordinating specific HR & Payroll projects.
- Ensure timely and accurate invoicing, and maintain supporting and control worksheets to support HR & payroll control processes.
Key Requirements:
- University degree in Business, HR, Accounting, or related disciplines.
- 3-4 years of experience in payroll, with a strong understanding of Spanish legislation and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills in Spanish, with a medium-advanced level in English.
- Proficiency in MS Office package, with strong team-playing skills, quick-learning ability, and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
