Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Director of Technology to establish and lead the internal IT function from the ground up. This high-growth environment offers a unique opportunity to build and shape the IT function with potential future responsibility for cloud operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• IT Function Setup and Leadership: Establish the internal IT function, designing systems, processes, and policies.
• Migrate technology workstreams from the parent company, ensuring a smooth transition.
• Develop robust IT infrastructure, including devices, networks, and systems.
• Implement enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, and other critical business applications.

Cybersecurity and Information Security:

• Own and manage all aspects of cybersecurity and information security, protecting company data and systems.
• Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Assess and mitigate IT risks, implementing necessary safeguards.

Vendor Management:

• Select, manage, and collaborate with third-party vendors to deliver IT services and solutions.
• Optimise IT costs while ensuring high service levels and scalability.
• Oversee contracts and relationships with service providers.

Strategic and Operational Leadership:

• Provide strategic direction for IT initiatives, aligning them with overall business goals and growth strategies.
• Lead the selection and implementation of key enterprise systems (ERP, CRM) to support business operations.
• Support M&A activities, integrating acquired entities into the company's IT infrastructure.
• Take ownership of cloud operations as the business transitions towards cloud-based solutions.

Estimated salary: €120,000 - €150,000 per annum.
