Flowserve is a global leader in providing comprehensive fluid control solutions. We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Machining Specialist.

Your Role:

  • Manage technical documentation, interpreting parameters and specifications related to manufacturing processes.
  • Propose procedures, identifying equipment, tools, and auxiliary means for process development.
  • Establish machining phases and parameters, ensuring quality, optimizing times, and minimizing costs.
  • Select necessary tools and fixtures based on material type, part to be manufactured, process, quality, and equipment availability.
  • Carry out maintenance operations for machine and equipment use: cleaning, greasing, adjustment of organs, and sharpening of cutting tools.
  • Prepare machines and equipment for machining, shaping, and special procedures: placement of cutting or shaping tools, piece clamping system, loading programs, and protection systems.
  • Prepare CNC programs or parts of them based on manufacturing drawings, technical documentation, and production orders.
  • Make corrections and adjustments to programs and machines.
  • Propose auxiliary tools necessary for making the first piece. File the program in the corresponding support.
  • Make modifications to programs, optimizing them with established quality conditions.

Your Profile:

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering or similar.
  • Medium level of English – spoken and written.
  • High-level Microsoft Office.
  • Commitment to safety and quality at work.
  • Proactivity, good interpersonal, and communication skills.
