About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Engineer to lead our Vulnerability Management Program. As a key member of our Cyber Security Team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting information security solutions in enterprise and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Cyber Security Vulnerability Management Program, ensuring the identification and mitigation of complex security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Assist with incident response activities and escalations from the L2 SOC analysts, leveraging your expertise in Cyber Security to drive results.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity engineers and members of the SOC to develop and implement security tools, procedures, and controls to enhance Clarivate's overall security posture.
  • Contribute to vendor conversations, building requirements, and supporting requests from the business, utilizing your expertise in Cyber Security to drive business outcomes.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cyber Security Engineer with a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, protocols, and technologies. You will possess a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a cybersecurity role.

You will have a proven track record of designing, implementing, and supporting information security solutions in enterprise and cloud environments, as well as experience in digital forensics and incident response. Additionally, you will have a deep understanding of scripting languages, data structures, API integrations, and infrastructure as code.

Familiarity with one or more of the following frameworks (CIS benchmarks, NIST CSF, ISO27001 or SOC2) is highly desirable, as is experience working with security vendors to evaluate products, analyze security functionality, and submit feature requests.
