The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance and E-Commerce Legal Counsel to join our Legal team at Wallapop. As a key member of our team, you will provide comprehensive legal support for our e-commerce operations, ensuring compliance with evolving laws and regulations, mitigating legal risks, and fostering ethical business practices.

About the Role

  • Compliance & Ethics: Develop and implement internal compliance policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and regulations.
  • Commercial Agreements: Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including supplier agreements, customer contracts, partnership agreements, and licensing agreements.
  • Consumer Law: Advise on consumer protection laws, including distance selling regulations, unfair commercial practices, and dispute resolution mechanisms.
  • E-commerce Compliance: Monitor and advise on legal developments related to e-commerce, including digital services regulations, product safety, and artificial intelligence.
  • Legal Research & Analysis: Conduct legal research and analysis on relevant legal issues, providing clear and concise legal advice to internal stakeholders.
  • Dispute Resolution: Assist in managing legal disputes and pre-litigation matters, including negotiating settlements.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience as a lawyer specialized in digital law and e-commerce.
  • Degree in Law with strong academic credentials.
  • Admitted to practice law in Spain.
  • Excellent level of English for drafting and reviewing agreements.
  • Open to providing legal guidance across a wide range of legal issues to business stakeholders.
  • Passionate about fast-growing companies and tech-driven businesses.
  • Curiosity and interest in learning about the regulatory framework applicable to platforms.
