We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Site Manager to join our team at Schneider Electric. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for leading the site works phase of our projects, ensuring timely and efficient execution of fieldwork.
Key Responsibilities- Attend daily site meetings and conduct task briefings with customers, contractors, and suppliers to protect company interests.
- Prepare and update detailed installation and commissioning schedules, collaborating with the Project Manager to ensure seamless integration with the overall project programme.
- Oversee on-site works and teams of technicians, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations and HSE plans.
- Monitor progress and provide weekly reports to the Project Manager, collecting timesheets and maintaining a site diary.
- Manage day-to-day site activities, anticipate resource needs, and ensure timely execution of fieldwork.
- Ensure method statements are communicated and followed by all site staff, and direct other employees/contractors engaged in work on behalf of the company.
- Verify that all construction complies with design specifications and provide feedback to the design team as needed.
- Identify and resolve problems with systems or products during installation and testing.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
