Job Title: Supply Chain Network Planning Manager

Amazon is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Network Planning Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Long Term Network Planning team, you will be responsible for driving strategic plans based on forecasts and optimizing the flow of billions of units each year for EU customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ownership of data creation and reporting of key strategic metrics of the program
  • Deep dive analysis to understand drivers of business performance and provide clear communication to stakeholders
  • Definition, scoping, and implementation of strategic projects to maximize financial benefits of the program
  • Alignment with WW Tech team on deployment of technical solutions to support expansion of low-cost storage program in EU
  • Presentation of strategic documents to update senior leadership on progress of the program
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, or similar quantitative field
  • Proven experience working in a highly complex analytical environment preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Transportation Planning
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, and prioritize
  • Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills, ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and build business cases
  • Advanced Excel knowledge required
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, or similar quantitative field
  • Proficiency in any scripting language, preferably Python or R
  • Proficiency in SQL
