Job Title: Special Educational Needs Coordinator

Laude San Pedro International College is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to join our dynamic school community. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, happy, and inclusive learning environment for all students.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in SENCO practices, with a focus on safeguarding, inclusion, and emotional support. You will work closely with teachers, students, and parents to ensure that every child receives the support they need to thrive.

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about inclusive education, has excellent communication skills, and is able to work collaboratively as part of a team. If you are a dedicated and enthusiastic SENCO looking for a new challenge, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a consistent approach to safeguarding, inclusion, and emotional support for all students
  • Work closely with teachers and parents to ensure that every child receives the support they need
  • Collaborate with the school community to promote a culture of inclusivity and respect
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external agencies and professionals to ensure that students receive the best possible support

Requirements:

  • SENCO qualification and experience
  • Strong background in safeguarding, inclusion, and emotional support
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Proficient bilingual or English proficiency and knowledge of Spanish
